Question: As a scientist, what is your biggest goal and achievement?

    Hi lucychap11,

    That’s a big qn! hmmm… my biggest goal is to make science and medicine more understandable to everyone, and to help develop new ways to diagnose, treat or manage cancer. I’d also love to know why certain breeds of dog are more prone to particular types of cancer – which could also help people with those cancers.

    My biggest achievement is probably my PhD – for 4 years I worked on a new gene and protein that we thought played a role in ovarian cancer. 🙂
