    The first question is if and how you can say that something “truly is”, independent of what you “see”. (This question, in modern times, is the concern not only of philosophers but of some quantum physicists.)

    The second question is about what “white stripes” means: what is a stripe, and what is white? How, for example does ‘white’ exist outside of THINGS that are ‘white’?
