Question: Where humanbeings meant to have tails? Or not?

    There’s a movie about that isn’t there?! I cant remember its name.

    Anyway, we have a tiny bone called the coccyx that is attached to the very last vertebrae in your spine. Its only tiny and does not really have a function. But, this is the same place where other animals’ tails originate (they just have many more tiny bones that go all the way through the tail) so in a way, we do have a tail – its just on the inside and because of this… its really difficult to wag!

    As Kate says, we have the “leftovers” of a tail, the result of our evolution from apes.

    It’s also interesting to think about what you mean when asking whether human beings were MEANT TO have tails. ‘Meant to’, or ‘originally designed to’, according to… ?
