The word ‘mechanics’ refers to physics and how objects move, after forces are applied to them and how this affects their surroundings.
I guess that’s why he have the people ‘mechanics’ so, in the case of a car mechanic for example they can build new engines and help me work out what’s wrong with mine when it’s not behaving right!
