Me and my work
I look at how being exposed to high fat or high sugar diets before birth or very early in infancy can change an individual’s risk of becoming obese later in life
My Typical Day
I don’t really have a typical day, which is what I love about my job! Some days I in the lab, others meeting with students and basically no day is the same as another!
What I'd do with the money
Use it to produce short videos about my reserach to give to schools and the public

Who is your favourite singer or band?
Like a lot of different music, so favourites change alot..
What is the most fun thing you've done?
Getting married on a tropical island with all my favourite people
If you had 3 wishes for yourself what would they be? - be honest!
more time to do all the things I wanted, enough money to not have to worry and my own personal chauffeur
What did you want to be after you left school?
origianally a dentist, then a marine biologist
Were you ever in trouble in at school?
not really – sorry, not that interesting!
What's the best thing you've done as a scientist?
presented my work at major international meetings and got really good feedback from some of the leading scientists in my field.
