Question: how come there is lots of water in seas but epople dont use it?

This is because it is very expensive and energy intensive to convert salt water into fresh water so we can use it. However, we are getting much better technologies now to allow us to do this quicker and using less energy. This is why all the major cities in Australia on the coast now have desalination plants so we can turn sea water into fresh water.
