Girls definitely develop faster than boys when they are kids and there are studies that show boys are better at reading maps… but beyond that I don’t know if there are any generalisations that can be made!
If we go by IQ, then most studies say that the average IQ of men and women is the same. (I’m going to stick to adults because boys and girls mature at different times.)
BUT the IQs of men are more spread out: so there are more very-high-IQ men than women AND more very-low-IQ men than women.
That, however, is just IQ, which is just one number. It is also commonly said that girls are better at languages and boys at mathematics, but there is also scientific disagreement about how much is because of natural differences and how much is because of what society expects.
